Promoting wellbeing & health in a unique way

Yoga Therapy is a safe and unique body-mind approach when people on your team may suffer from:

  •  Stress & burnout (preventative and curative)
  •  Dysfunctional breathing
  •  Physical tension/injuries due to computer work
  •  Anxiety
  •  Stress-related digestive issues such as IBS
  •  Sleeping disorders
Yoga Therapy is a great tool to add to your company’s stress reduction and wellbeing toolkit when a team member’s bucket starts to overflow.

"I feel stronger and healthier than ever after this amazing experience"

I wasn’t sure what to expect as I had never done yoga before and was slightly skeptical. However, everything was offered step-by-step in a very accessible way. I turned to yoga therapy when I was on the edge of burnout, but yoga therapy has given me the tools to make a complete turnaround in health. I can enjoy my life again, my sleep has drastically improved, and I just feel fit.”

What is Yoga Therapy?

The One to One Yoga Therapy sessions involve a personalized assessment, goal setting, and a tailored yoga-based practice, usually involving breathing, movement, relaxation, meditation, and lifestyle recommendations based on your current health and needs.

Yoga Therapy aims to make you feel better within a few sessions and empower you to care for yourself and thereby move towards long-term health. No prior yoga experience is required.

Research has shown Yoga Therapy to be an effective complementary therapy, meaning it works very well next to medical treatments, physical therapy, or psychotherapy. Therefore, an increasing number of health care providers recommend Yoga Therapy as part of treatment programs.

How does it work?

Usually, clients book a package of 5 sessions. And if they wish to continue, single monthly sessions can be booked for regular maintenance and updates on the personal yoga practice. Sessions are by appointment and take place online during office hours.

Intake

The first session is an intake session to discuss information based on current health questions, medical history, and lifestyle. Additionally, we’ll gather more information about how you stand, move, and breathe. Since dysfunctional breathing patterns are an underlying - yet often unnoticed - cause of health complaints with many clients, a breath assessment is part of the intake.

Personal plan

Based on the information from the intake, we’ll discuss a tailored step-by-step plan and set goals to support the body’s self-healing capacity and feel greater ease in body and mind. We use practices from the yoga toolbox which are shared in such a way they can be easily practiced at home as well. Lifestyle recommendations are usually included as well.

Follow-up sessions

The plan’s elements are practiced and fine-tuned together in the follow-up sessions based on the client’s continuous feedback. This way, we ensure that the practices fit the client perfectly. Supporting materials such as audio, video, and handouts are provided to maximize effectiveness. The frequency of the sessions is determined by mutual agreement based on the client’s preferences.

"Working with Quinty felt like a warm bath"

“After a period of overload, I benefited greatly from the yoga therapy sessions. The practices perfectly suited me and were accompanied by insightful background on physiological processes of the body. In the sessions and through the homework, I received a thorough basis to start applying the tools myself.”
