We do this through carefully designed programs to educate employees with the latest science on how their bodies and minds work and offer them simple tools to find a sense of calm.
Unique in our approach is a deep understanding of the breath on physical and mental health. Dysfunctional breathing patterns are often underlying to varying health complaints – feelings of stress, anxiety, panic attacks, physical tension, disrupted sleep, headaches, and chronic disease. We help you to retrain breathing patterns to optimize physical and mental health.
We know how human beings tick. Providing knowledge and tools is one thing, gearing people towards action is another. Therefore, our programs use the latest findings from psychology and behavioral science to support participants in creating lasting healthy habits.
I’m Quinty van Eick MSc. (1986). Founder of The Rest Revolution. Yoga therapist, breath coach, and stress management expert. With over eight years working in the corporate world myself (Rabobank, Tommy Hilfiger), I understand the challenges and pressures faced in the workplace. Combining my corporate working experience with stress reduction and holistic health expertise, I’m guiding business professionals to happier, healthier, and more well-rested lives.
I am a certified Yoga Therapist, a modality that combines yoga with modern biomedicine, neuroscience, and psychology. Down-to-earth and evidence-based. Having booked tremendous results with my clients, I know how powerful yoga’s relaxation, breathing, meditation, and movement practices can be.
However, I am also a rational person that wants to understand WHY these practices work. Therefore, my mission with The Rest Revolution is to demystify these ancient practices, combine them with the latest scientific findings, and make them accessible for modern-day people living high-paced lives.
So that improving mental health, finding inner peace, and living life with vitality is at everyone’s fingertips.
